Application
Apply QuickCure gel to the rain sensor pad and position the sensor on the glass. Attach the QCL leveler to hold the sensor firmly in place, maintaining consistent pressure throughout the cure window. Once the gel has fully cured (3–4 minutes), remove the leveler. Clean off any gel residue after each use.
Do I need the leveler, or can I hold the sensor by hand?
You can hold the sensor by hand, but the leveler produces more consistent results. Hand pressure is difficult to keep perfectly even for 3–4 minutes, and any movement during the cure window can compromise the bond. The leveler pays for itself quickly in reduced callbacks and re-dos.
Is the leveler reusable?
Yes. The QCL leveler is designed for repeated use. Clean off any gel residue after each use and store it with your QuickCure supplies.
What sensors does the leveler work with?
The QCL leveler is designed to work with the full range of Marcy rain sensor pads (MSP series) and QuickCure gel. It accommodates the common sensor form factors found in domestic and import vehicles.
Does the leveler work with third-party rain sensor gel?
The QCL leveler is designed for use with Marcy QuickCure gel and may work with other gel products, but Marcy only tests and supports it with QC4 and QC12.
