Replacement nozzles for Marcy QuickCure Rain Sensor Gel syringes — 10 nozzles per bag. Rain sensor gel nozzles clog when residual gel cures in the tip between uses. Having a supply of fresh nozzles on hand means no downtime waiting on a replacement tip before the next install. Compatible with both QC4 and QC12 QuickCure syringes.

Specifications

  • Part Number: QCN
  • Quantity: 10 nozzles per bag
  • Compatibility: Marcy QuickCure QC4 and QC12 syringes

Application

Thread a fresh nozzle onto the QuickCure syringe before each use. After dispensing, replace the cap immediately to slow gel curing in the tip. If a nozzle becomes clogged, unthread and discard it — replace with a fresh nozzle from this pack. Do not attempt to clear a clogged nozzle.

Why do the nozzles clog?

QuickCure gel begins to cure when exposed to air. If gel remains in the nozzle tip after use, it cures and blocks the passageway. This is a normal characteristic of fast-cure adhesive gels. Replacing the cap immediately after use slows this process, but nozzle replacement is expected with regular use.

How many nozzles does one installation use?

One nozzle per session is typical. If you're doing multiple installs back-to-back, you may be able to use the same nozzle throughout — cap it between sensors. For sessions separated by hours or days, use a fresh nozzle each time.

Are these nozzles compatible with both QC4 and QC12?

Yes. QCN nozzles fit both QC4 (4ml) and QC12 (12ml) QuickCure syringes.

Can I clear a clogged nozzle instead of replacing it?

Not recommended. Cured gel inside the nozzle is difficult to remove without damaging the tip, and a cleared nozzle may not dispense evenly. Replacement nozzles are inexpensive — use a fresh one for reliable results every time.

How should I store unused nozzles?

Store unused nozzles in the original bag, away from direct sunlight and heat. They do not require any special storage — just keep them clean and dry until use.
